J. Alexander's - Livonia

This location is definitely the best of the three in Michigan. I’ve visited the ones in Troy and West Bloomfield before, and the service and food there didn’t compare to what we experienced here. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, checking in on us frequently and making sure our water glasses were always full. Our food arrived at just the right time and didn’t take long to come out. The classic cheeseburger was delicious as always, and this time was no exception. The Mr. Jack's crispy chicken platter is also excellent; I’d recommend it or a burger if you’re not too hungry. Everything else was great as well, and I would definitely return to this location.

No matter when you visit J's, the food is always fresh, especially the steaks. It's definitely one of my top five restaurants!

Excellent quality service and food. Highly recommend the carrot cake. There are vegetarian and vegan options as well. Reservations are a must for weekend and evenings. Soft lighting and very clean seating areas. There is handicapped parking andaccess but keep in mind some of the inside seating is located up three steps into another area. Shout out to Desiree for herwarm demeanor and superb service. She is awesome! Recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an upscale first date orintimate meal with someone special. Food was absolutely delicious! Prime rib was very tender and delightful and the Rotisserie chicken was very most and tasty! Server and staff were very friendly and professional!

I'm a regular customer at this restaurant, and I recently ordered through ChowNow. I requested a steak with smashed potatoes, but instead received a cold mac and cheese bowl. Additionally, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, but it arrived well done. I tried calling the restaurant twice, but no one answered.
