We were eight, booked with a few days before. We were given a round and large table in the former. Nice atmosphere. A friend who is from ribadesella recommended it. We went on second shift. It's hard to park because it was full of the first one, so we waited for one of the first. During the hottest week in the EU memorial, including Northern Spain, we landed in mestas de ardisana for a night (in the hotel benzua, obviously used to serve food, but not anymore, so I am told) the owners of the hotel suggested the Casa...xico, so we went. it was now at 40-42 degrees c, which is at 100° f, so it was a less than climate-controlled experience. the food was a fine accompaniment to wein and Verdinas, and a lot of sausages and morcilla, and the somewhat strange (we say only the original cooking of asturias and this corner of northern Spain: maisbase, instead of weiz or rice, and for all that, delicious. my wife spanish is not entirely on mine, so for a walk back to the hotel and a nodding (less than half a mile away) and I hang out with the other lunches who were remarkable, also for a summer dinner outside rural Spain. the whole afternoon was appreciated.
