What a find! In the middle of Texas, this little jewel was unexpected, but pleasing. New Jersey people are located in a tiny Texas city, they still know their roots and make it right! If you want a delicious Philly with fresh soft bread, gooey cheese and grilled onions and peppers, this is your place. The Eddie's Jersey Board Walk Pizza was also amazingly dusted with chopped garlic and crowns to perfection, this cake was worth the ride! Llano, my hat is to you!
Yummie! Our visit was very pleasant!!!! Fries were anxious, BEST pizza we had that we did not notice any hidden prices or burnt catfish we were there on a Friday where stone walls eat their All You can, man had several baskets and no one was burned. Service was very good and the help looked neatly not land ducks. We also bought a T-shirt with a really cool Tiedyed Print!! We will always stop there when we go through Llano Texas!! You should all try this place to take my word, try it!!
Friends are good. Only complaint is that I wish you had more than 3 steak fingers.
Very enjoyable. We pulled into Llano about 8pm on a Tuesday night pretty hungry and with nowhere to stay for the night. This little town is forever emblazoned upon my heart as warm and loving now. First, there is Stonewalls: the service was outstanding and warm, caring quick. The food (I had chicken parmesan) was average. However I would eat there again in a heartbeat they had all the great stuff...pizza, burgers, salads....mmmm. Lots of parking on the square; easy to find on a corner near the Llano bridge. The atmosphere? Well, in a word, amazing. We asked the waitress if she knew where we could stay the night. The manager nestled in our booth with us and started describing the various B B's....wow! They brought us a phone book to call B B's. None answered. The waitress recommended a new place (Walden Plantation). They answered so we stayed there. Here's the kicker: the man at the table next to us lived 2 doors from Walden Plantation he led us out the back roads in the dark the 9 miles to it! Very friendly, very open community that attitude prevails Stonewall's! I can't wait to eat there again. This is what Texas hospitality is all about.
