La Barca - Locarno

Last saturday 24th of Nov I ve been to Locarno for the weekend with my fiancee and we decided to visit La Barca for a late lunch. I must say amazing experience..a guy welcome us in a such professional and warm way. Great hospitality and the food was exellent. We start with Aperol Spritz and the waiter suggested a plate with ham and cheese to start with, omg was so nice to eat in front of the lake. As the main course we had two Frittura del Golfo and one Grilled Tuna with pistacho..superb. Exellent Service calm and relax atmosphere. If you are looking for a great time in a cool place for a Romantic lunch or Dinner...this is the place. Good Job Angel such a prof and lovely person he took care of us. Thank you so much.We will come back soon.

Saturday night dinner, we had veal escalope in balsamic sauce and grilled giant prawns. Both dishes were fresh and excellent, followed by panna cotta, chocolate pudding. Reasonably priced wine and water completed the meal for 100 chf. The staff are great also, highly recommend.

Darauf angesprochen erklärte man uns, Parboiled wär eben praktischer… Ziemlich minderwertiges Kalbfleisch al limone. Korrekter Schwertfisch.

Bedienung sehr freundlich, es ist einfach traumhaft, auf dem Wasser bei Sonnenuntergang etwas zu trinken. Insgesamt einfache Küche, das Boot sieht auch drinnen nicht sehr sauber aus, aber die Atmosphäre mach das etwas wett. Und die Leute sind wirklich sehr nett.

Am Samstagabend hatten wir Kalbsschnitzel in Balsamico-Sauce und gegrillte Riesengarnelen. Beide Gerichte waren frisch und ausgezeichnet, gefolgt von Panna Cotta, Schokoladenpudding. Wein und Wasser zu vernünftigen Preisen rundeten das Essen für 100 chf ab. Die Angestellten sind auch super, sehr zu empfehlen.
