La Plancha - Loches

We were hungry, it was late, it was open. It was wonderful! They redefined cheeseburger for me. No kidding! It 's worth going out of your way for. Truly, I can 't recommend it enough.

Lunch with the family and they catered for every one. Really friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Lovely burgers, great salads and a glass of rose fab!

Friendly restaurant just below the castle in Loches on rue du Chateau. We wanted a casual dinner and La Plancha was just right. The owners were so nice and locals stopped by while we had big tasty burgers on a planche or board. The special of the day came with a salad and golden crispy fries. You got to pick from a good selection of sauces to dip your fries, like hickory smoked bbq sauce. There were ripe tomatoes, sweet onion and lettuce on the burger in a good quality bun. Families will appreciate the frozen ice cream cone selection

Unpretentious from the outside and quite small inside but excellent food very well presented. The couple,who I assumed owned it, were friendly and helpful and spoke English. My wife had a kebab and I had kofta. Both had salad and chips served on the side and were very tasty with the presentation first class. A new twist on kebabs and kofta. Highly recommended.

Great choice of burgers, very well prepared. The owners are very nice people. And one of the few places open on Monday evening! We would thoroughly recommend this place to everyone!
