Broken Axe Brew House - Lock Haven

In past experience there was a limited menu with amazing food and service: I was really looking forward to desert however we had reservations for 7:40 placed our order by 7:10 and an hour later we were told our 2 sandwiches were still 20 minutes out. It appears the chef was only firing one table at a time. There was no communication about the kitchen running slow or behind we chose to come home and eat leftovers instead of waiting and I'm really disappointed I missed the strawberry ceme brûlée.

If you're looking for a really awesome pub with great bar food then this is the place. It's not a huge place and that's exactly what we were looking for. Ton of beers on tap. Will return!

Though the menu is pretty small, the food is great. I think I ate there once and was just meh. I thought the battered fish was over battered. Otherwise I love the chicken sandwich, the bacon beer cheese fries are seriously . I have also enjoyed a pita sandwich and chicken Caesar salad. What I enjoy the most is that I’m NOT a beer drinker but the brews they get in are so different I don’t even know I’m drinking beer. The keewaydin is my favorite and since they keg was kicked I tried peach bikes! and fell in love and the orange is the new ale, sangria, mojito. I know they change often but these are just to show what I like

I have never been to this restaurant before, in fact I never even knew it existed. But I'm really glad that my parents brought me here because this place has the best fries that I think I've ever eaten in my life! I also really enjoyed the burger, it had really good char grilled flavor. Also their draft beer selection is amazing for this small town! I would highly recommend this place to anybody!

Great friendly staff. Lots of character about the place. The food was good too.
