Dryfesdale Country House

The hotel is situated in a beautiful, secluded area with stunning views. Manager Glen and his staff/family took excellent care of us and were always ready to help with any issues. We attended a large New Year Party for residents, and the service was always prompt and efficient. The meals were delicious and the New Year's Eve party with live music was a memorable experience. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the front lounge by the real fire on other nights. Our room was spacious, cozy, and modern. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel. Thank you to the entire team for their hospitality.

The service, hospitality, and food at this restaurant were truly terrible. Our experience was extremely disappointing, despite the grand building and beautiful surroundings. It is such a shame.

Unfortunately, the memories of my daughter's wedding, which was such a happy event, will always be tainted by the terrible experience we had at this gloomy and neglected hotel. There are too many negatives to list here, but a couple of staff members were friendly and the food on the first night was good. It seemed like the owner went out of their way to make our special occasion as uncomfortable as possible. I will not be surprised if the owner responds defensively to this review, but I will not take it seriously and would advise other potential wedding parties to be cautious of the enticing brochure and promises.

We were here for an overnight stay and had dinner then the following morning breakfast,both of which were brilliant.This hotel is very comfortable,friendly and extremely well managed. Personally I would suggest anyone wanting a lovely room, in delightful surroundings,this is the spot. The hotel staff go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay.

Booked Superior Twin Room in this 4* Hotel. On day of travel the owner diverted us to an inferior room in an inferior 3* Hotel and then tried to charge our Credit Card for the 4* Accommodation. When we complained about this the owner was rude and very aggresive.
