Cactus Club Locri

Excellent efficient service and amazing food. We were a big group of about 16 people with 3 very young children and 2 elderly grandparents. The waiter immediately took the orders for the children and grandparents and brought their food very quickly without even having to ask them. The rest of the service was pretty fast too. To top it off the food was amazing! Both fish dishes and pizza were exceptional. The views and setting were also stunning! We were literally on the beach overlooking the sea! A perfect dining experience!

We had an amazing dinner on the beach. Romantic and delicious. Best restaurant in Locri in 2019. We ate a raw fish plate...very difficult to make as the primary ingredients needed to be excellent!!!

A huge summer beach club by day, it becomes a restaurant from 8 in the evening (with occasional events for entertainment). After the end of the summer season, the core staff transfer back to Winter Cactus on the main street through the town We had been travelling in Calabria for more than a week, and this was probably the best meal so far. We ordered Involtini de gambero and Involtini de vitello, and shared them. Both were excellent. Good service; not pushy. Good selection of wines. Very reasonable prices. Finding this place is a little difficult. Go north from the main square (Piazza de Martiri) to the traffic lights, and turn right. After crossing the railway line, turn left and follow Lungomare Nord for about 500 metres.

I've never been there but they speak very well about it.

Yet another summer yet another visit to the Cactus Club, always a pleasure, an enjoyable experience and can't wait to go back again next year (or maybe go to the Winter Cactus). For a meal on the edge of the sea listening to the waves beat the shore this is a really good experience. The staff are friendly the food is good, what more could you ask for!
