The location is really very nice, coffee and cake is ok, certainly not the best coffee cappuccino and a confectionery has also tastefully better cake to choose. For the first time, the dinner gave at least. 4 stars, oxenbäckchen very good, pig crust roast perfect. Salad as an appetizer for two people sufficient and fresh and tasty. Nuggets and Spagetti Bolognese sufficient and tasty. For the second time hull steak medium, OK quality, band noodles with fillet strips only on average with significant potential. Appetizer Champignon male is OK. Overall very good price-performance ratio, staff friendly, but sometimes inclination to superficiality. However, it is possible to go there again and again, highly recommended, especially because the quality of the surrounding restaurants (e.g. Zinnowitz) is desired.
Looking for a neat latte Macchiato (an obviously heavy company on Usedom, we tried last year, among other things, on the island farm Vineta, where we took place on the completely empty terrace in a beach basket. However, the latte was very thin and the foam did not taste like milk... The coffee machines here on Usedom are obviously all well maintained and set by the same technician... For this the service was very friendly, the location great and the beach basket comfortable and windproof...
General holidays on USEDOM. I have already reported on the island in my review for the summer café in Rankwitz. The island farm VINETA is located in Lake Zempin, where the Baltic Sea in the north and the eighth water in the south press the island into a close denomination that has only a width of about 300 m in the narrowest place. The small sea bath therefore has a beautiful beach on the Baltic Sea in the north, but it is also located in the mostly snowy eighth water in the south. It has not yet been destroyed by tourism, with its sheltered houses still has something of the charm of the original fishing village. The simple restaurant The Achterwasser was built in a rural farm around the turn of the century. At the end of the twenties, a consecrated East Frisian operated the local and enticed students from Berlin to the island who spent their holidays there and worked part of the day. At the beginning of the thirty-three-year-old, the inn received a dubious reputation when it was carved that rich citymen celebrated great treats with the serving ladies. According to his own statement, the VINETA Inselfarm has the largest terrace on the eighth water that allows a magnificent view because the reed has been cut at this point. The VINETA Island Court has its name from the legendary city of the early Middle Ages, which at the time should be one of the largest and richest cities in Europe. VINETA should have broken down during a large Baltic Sea storm due to the moral decay of its citizens. So far, science has not succeeded in finding evidence of the decline in this city. It was long after 9:00 when we came back from a trip to Rügen and wanted to eat something else. No problem for the Inselfarm. The complete menu was our choice. We were served by several female service personnel who did not all work equally professionally. Nevertheless, there was not really something that was suspended in service. Menu and first drinks quickly came to the table. We didn't have to wait for dinner either. Again and again it was asked whether something was wrong or whether it tastes. That's right. The VINETA Islandyard restaurant offers a delicious, well-rounded kitchen with a focus on fish. Of course, from appetizer to dessert is everything you expect from a restaurant on this level. Our food: Kohlrabi Carpaccio Euro 7,90) as an appetizer we shared: On a plate, Kohlrabi slices were finely cut, which were flavored in a spicy marinade. In addition to other vegetables, the slices were garnished with a slightly grained mass, which I could not identify except finely rubbed nuts. She gave the court the right reef. A beautiful entrance. Fried ochsenbäckchen with vegetables and fish juices Euro 14,90): To bring it forward: for my wife the best ochsenbäckchen that they have ever eaten. Full beef flavor, strongly seasoned, well-cooked meat with still light bite. Fresh vegetables and the unavoidable but tasty fish fragrances a kind of potato pulp) added the very good dish. Fish variation Euro 16,90: The dish was served on a large round dish. In the middle were on a bacon sauce that, although not beautifully looked, but was delicious, the three fish fillets were dressed: Zander, salmon and cash. All fish excellently prepared, chess fried, the zander and the perch on the skin, all well seasoned and very juicy inside. Around the fish, blunt cuts of carrot, roasts of cauliflower and salt potatoes were broken. The vegetables had bites, but it wasn't too hard. It was only slightly flavored so that the full vegetable taste remained. The salt potatoes also corresponded to what is not always the case. A delicious, rustic dish, maybe something too rustic.... What the dessert continued, we were always happy with a bottle of vanilla and chocolate with cream Euro 2,40. The food was very tasty and plentiful, almost too plentiful, including for example the presentation suffered. If I missed something, it was the particular reef that was missing a dish.
