The chefs are very talented. restaurant is small but comfortable and is very rustic chic. service is wonderful and eating is impeccable.

If there was a sixth star, I would give it to these two talented restaurant owners!

17 summer is simply the best restaurant in which I was. we have the habit of going about all 2 weeks. eating is remarkable every time. they have the best playlist. I can't recommend it anymore.

We had a fantastic experience and meal! jenna and joseph have an incredible space! if they can, they should not hesitate to go!

17 Summer is what my husband and I would describe as a hidden jem. I only came upon this intimate, sophisticated restaurant after a friend gave us a gift card last year. I had never heard of it before. Granted it is a newer establishment. I am not a food critic (although it would really be my dream job) but I do consider myself a foodie and somewhat harsh when giving constructive criticism to cuisine. I have visited some of the top places in northern New Jersey (those that have been voted top in the state and one nationally) and I must say, this ranks right up there. Tonight we were for the third time...and it just gets better and better (if that 's even possible). The menu is versatile and with each season it brings flavors that satisfy even the most daring palates. I find myself occasionally looking at the menu, waiting eagerly for the new one to come out. So will we be visiting at least once a season? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Well if you are looking to be enlightened and awaken your taste buds, this is your place.
