Brygga Hotell - Loedingen

Nice location with good interior and comfortable atmosphere. Polite and respectful staff. Unfortunately the service was not good as we wanted to order a child's meal and were denied because the staff argumented that no children were present. Apparently adults can't eat a child's meal. Seems the owner thinks no income is better than some income. A small portion of fries is excluded from this rule as it seems but not without adding 20 NOK on top. Looks like splitting kid's fries on two plates is charged extra. And without your notice. We were very disappointed. Norway is such a polite and respectful country. We don't think we will return.

We were here for dinner and all the dishes were amazing, very good burger and typical cod, special mention for the chocolate and banana cake. Definitely worth a stop.

Absolutely the place to be for dinner! Cozy, very nice interior and hospitality. We got fish soup and it was so delicious. We loved the bread with salt flakes and herbal garlicky butter as spread. The staff is so so friendly (big thanks to Inna, she was so nice to us). We were super full but would have tried Pavlova dessert. Well, next time

Went for dinner, and boy oh boy how surprising experience! Food was really good (fish soup, scallops, pork belly), very nice, but service.. Not helpful at all, we needed to pull out all the needed information, non offered voluntarily. Needed to ask refill of water and coffee, and information about allergens was challenging to sort out. Maybe the staff were summer substitutes or something but so rarely I have got this awkward and pathetic service anywhere.

Suuuuuper welcoming experience. The staff went above and beyond in helping us store our frozen food. The room was clean. The view was magnificent. The food was sooo tasty. Everything was just perfect. Definitely one of our best stays in Norway with very good value for money.
