Got some takeaway here tonight as I live just down the roadIt's in a very unassuming position and I hadn't noticed it beforeI'm glad I found it.
Just one of the several good value eateries on Wynnum Rd, Kao Kub Gaeng has won my affections for its most classic of Thai dishes -- the Pad Thai.
Great new Thai place in the heart of Mt Gravatt, with delicious authentic fresh tasting dishes. I got the pad see ew as recommended by the friendly waitress, Safiyyah, and it was the best noodles I've had in a long time. The portion sizes are quite large, and the deep fried ice cream for dessert was nice too. Only caveat is the lack of drinks on the menu.
Possibly the best Thai I've had. Serving size was good, flavours were spot on and service was very friendly. Well done, don't change a thing.
