There was baklava namoura a semolina based cake with coconut, pistachios almond) I love these middle Eastern treats so bought a pack of three to take home. They were moist sticky very moorish
Mangal chargrill in the food court at Kuraby is very popular place to eat for many of the Muslim locals and everyone else who loves quality barbecue grilled meats. Before I became a 3/4 vegetarian (cough cough) I use to order the mixed grill, it is a huge feast...probably because it was meant for two nonetheless everything was cooked fresh juicy chicken and lamb, lamb cutlets, mixed grilled Vegestables, Turkish breads, dips and salads it was delicious. <br/ <br/ But now my favourite meal from mangal chargrill are their falafels. Crispy on the outside hot moist on the inside with their hot chilli sauce (salsa) and hummus with Turkish rice, Turkish bread roll and salad. If I'm feeling extra hungry I may order a spinach and feta gozleme (which are beautiful) or a side of grilled Vegestables like tomato, onions, mushrooms and capsicum (extra $3 or $4 dollars but definitely <br/ <br/
This place has the best kebab around. Unlike other kebab places. It doesn’t use composite meat (ie reconstitute meat that gets shaven from a big stick). It uses real meat, so the lamb kebab is brilliant. The grilled chicken here is also tasty, especially when you like a bit of spice. Overall one of the best middle eastern food in Kuraby/Underwood area.
Get a meal deal here. The portions are big and tasty. Come with fresh bread. The food was good and the service quick. Highly recommended. Will come again.
Do yourself a favour and check out Mangal Chargrill. Great food, reasonable prices. Mixed grill on Saturday and back for Chicken on Sunday! Will be back to pick over the whole menu.
