I didn't have a very high regard for this place in the past, but it has changed...my impression after the last two visits. Most importantly they offer more varieties of good tea. This place is not as crowded as Yum Cha place across the street.
It seems that more employees have to hand so that no delays of ordinary quality, although in this matter the tentacles were not very hot? all arrived in short order, although the dumplings were later, but no problem to get so much. with. everything up to $51.50 for 2 delicious lunches. very practical if they have a greenslopes appointment when they are on crawling at beijing tong ren tan or asian delicacies in the nearby fresco super market, fresh, very much living medium size abalone for only $5 per.
Rude waitress, dirty table asked to switch to a clean table, said the waitress to us with very badly imagined: “they are so laborious” and rejected. so disappointed by this restaurant. we would not recommend this restaurant and do not return definitiw!
The first time that we tried here, beautiful scenery not as crowded as the other main Yum Cha Square in the sun bench. first they don't do trolleys, so they have to order in front. we ordered 3 dishes to begin, tentacles, fried combination pour and...prawn pour. 10 minutes later we got the fried dumplings and the tentacles, both were only lukewarm and we were surprised that they were not cooked as a job. I noticed a hot box, where the workers are loading out the commands of the people. after 10 minutes wait after the first 2 erect no knödeln arrived. So we thought we were going to pay, and there was a $2 buck pro. we had no tee, we ordered beer and so the tiny bowl of chili sauce and soy cost $2 each one a torn back.
No Trolley service, but fast lunch service good price. not sure whether Taiwanese or not, but all employees understood English no sullen faces. also the nearby fresca super market is probably Taiwanese, worth a visit.
