Best lavender latte around! One of my favorite spots to rest and read, get some work done or just swing by for my favorite coffee and tea!

Good hot chocolate! I know this isn't why people are interested in a coffee house review, but I don't drink coffee, so it's all the help I can give! It is important though. Since many meetings happen at coffee shops I have to find other things to order. Often I order tea but at My Half of the Sky I ordered hot chocolate, no whipped cream, and was surprised by a very tasty beverage. Great cafe with a great mission. plenty of choices on the menu and great baked goods:

Coffee is too expensive and not that great. One time, I walked in without a mask and one of the unfriendly baristas (who was only wearing a large shield and no mask) said to me “we require masks here.” I walked out! I will never step foot in this shop again. This place is incredibly overrated.

“My half of the sky” is a really wonderful locally owned coffee, tea, jewelry and apparel with a purpose shop. We stopped into this great business after going to the Wheaton Farmers Market. We are so glad that we did! The coffee and tea selection is wonderful, and the selection of muffins and quiche was so good it was difficult to choose just one thing.
