Big Zach's Place - Logansport

A hidden gem tucked away in logansport. Very good service and consistently GREAT food. Love their chicken fried steak.

Drove from Minden to eat at Big Zach's today. Was a wonderful dining experience. Super friendly staff and town folks. Food and service were both excellent. Had Boom Boom Shrimp , Boudin Balls , ribeye , rice and gravy , baked potato , pecan pie. All excellent, but Shrimp and pie were really outstanding

Appetizers were great. Stuffed flounder was great. Steak was good. Slightly overcooked ordered medium rare and came out medium. Definitely worth eating.

Great food don’t get me wrong. But $9 for 9 small fried mushrooms is a little steep ain’t it? $1 per mushroom… and the democrats say inflation is down??

Highlight of my trip every time I’m this way. Every single dish I’ve tried has been excellent Friendly staff and killer food; what else could you want?
