Taste Of The Caribbean - Loganville

Every time I arrive in Georgia, I always make it a point to stop by this restaurant! They serve the most authentic Jamaican food I've had, second only to my grandmother's cooking. The oxtails are my favorite, and the portion sizes are generous for the price, with top-notch quality as well.

My evaluation is solely based on the food. Unfortunately, it was some of the worst Jamaican cuisine I've ever encountered. The one-pot chicken was more of an oily liquid than a proper dish. The macaroni was unappetizing, and the cocoa bread was served cold. The only redeeming aspect was the atmosphere and humor. I won't be returning.

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic! I ordered the bratwurst bun with rice, and I also got the cauliflower. I chose the medium portion, and it's quite a lot (and I'm a big guy). I might even consider traveling all the way to Logan just to eat here again!

The jerk chicken is my favorite! the rice and the grapes always taste amazing and melt in their mouth like butter. the boss/owner is very nice I forgot my cake and he took care of me!) I come every week since I tried first. look at her, you won't regret it!

I'm not a person that give reviews unless I feel the need especially bad ones. I've been going to this place a little over two years maybe. Now the food is delicious whenever they have what you need ready they ALWAYS out of something! One day about 5pm no rice and peas another day no jerk chicken about 5 pm another time no sauce for the chicken. When I first started going a customer was complaining about this issue I definitely feel his pain now. The only reason I gave a two is because the food is honestly good other than that I would have gave a one. The lady always at the front is rude and isn't customer service friendly at all! She acts as though she doesn't want to be there! If your that exhausted hire some help! I continued to go all this time because that jerk chicken is the best but I definitely won't be returning!
