Marcopolo Kayah State - Loikaw

Best restaurant in Kayah. Great view, good things and fast.

Visits here in October 2019. You don't get a Kayah traditional food here. We call this restaurant in Chinese style. The taste is good.

The only decent restaurant in town (updated July 2019 there's another restaurant as part of the hotel just next door) but also it has great Kayah and Kayan styled dishes and above all, the outrageous views of rugged hills with a serene natural lake in the foreground. There's a bar in the at the ground floor but it doesn't seems to be functional at all. The main restaurant and the dining is on the first floor via a steep flight of stairs but worth a climb. There's no food to surprise you but dishes cooked in traditional style are recommended to try out. The location is isolated from the town and a bit tricky to follow the dirt trails. It is the place for the lunch and late afternoons drink.
