I am not an expert of Indian cuisine, but I am very much a foodie. My friend who accompanied me this evening is of Indian descent, and I completely trust her opinion. My palate is not used to very hot-spicy food. Some of my choices tonight were a bit spicier than I would prefer, but I ate every bit as it all was so beautifully prepared and delicious. My friend thought the meal was excellent in every way. The service was impeccable. My friend was running 30 minutes late, and I advised the maitre d’ of this upon my arrival, while promising to vacate the table at 8, regardless. He couldn’t have been nicer about seating me immediately anyway. The room is also beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant and would absolutely return when I visit London again.

Delicious food and fabulous ambience, perhaps a little noisier than we expected! But everything was great.

Me and my friend visited your restaurant today for a “Birthday celebration” and wanted to convey the experience was very disappointing. We planed to visit this place after so much research . We ordered (chicken skewer, Amritsari prawn pao and prawn biryani). The biryani tasted very odd and had a wired after taste , but the worst thing is me and friend fell sick after the meal (we had actually have extreme burn in the chest, more like gastric and very uneasy and pukish feeling). I’m not sure which food caused this. But it’s very disappointing to celebrate a birthday like this and also considering the cost of the food which is on the pricier side , I definitely did not expect this.

Excellent upscale (but not too upscale) Indian. In the heart of Fleet Street area, I expect his place is packed and maybe noisy on weekdays. But for lunch on a Saturday, just perfect. Calm and relaxed, with some Premier League football on the flatscreen, and truly outstanding dishes. All takes on the usual Indian fare, but better in each case than we're used to in the States. Highly recommended.
