Feedback gevenThe food was so delicious. My favorite two dishes were the duck with cranberry sauce and the egg sandwich with sweet potato fries. Starters were just okay. Desserts were nice especially the fondant.
The staff were very friendly, but the food was a huge let down. Old reheated food, another table even complained about the food too. Such a shame as this place used to be one of my favourites.
I personally think that this was one of the best place me and my daughter visited in a long time. The dinner was very tasty. We had the 3 course set menu and we were very happy with the choices. We got the Groupon voucher deal which i really recommend if you like to try new places and don't want to pay a lot. I Highly recommended this place. Thank you Remi for lovely service.
Poor service, food poor,visited with granddaughter ,never again! Waited over 30minutes for basic first course,no apology until I highlighted dissatisfaction.Bread and salsa brought to table to snack on,not great. All in all the service and food have deteriorated,not sure if its a change in management. Dessert was poor,didn’t eat it,cold brownie and ice cream.Grandaughter aged 7 asked me why we had not gone elsewhere....say no more!
Today my family of 4 had one of the worst meals ever in a very quiet restaurant. Starters were okay, although why prawns are served in shells in boiling oil is beyond me; I burnt my fingers trying to peel them. The main courses were the real problem. When meals did come out, one was frozen, one tasteless and one was an incorrect order. The Manager didn’t seem to care much although he took a large percentage off the bill after we had words. Chain restaurants should be able to get things right every time. They make the menu easy enough to get consistency. Cafe Rouge needs to help Southgate out.
