Feedback gevenUnfortunately, when we arrived the restaurant had no knowledge of our booking. Fortunately that did not matter as there was plenty of space which in itself speaks volumes in this location on a Friday night. The food was extremely average. We were not looking for a fine dining experience, simply an accessible spot at which to meet up. From that point of view this was a good choice.
The service was a bit slow but everything else was great!
Staff had no record of our open table booking. However, they were able to accommodate us after a 10 minute wait. Main course food took ages to arrive. 3 of the 4 dishes were reasonable, but my pulled beef burger was disappointing. Staff appeared rushed off their feet.
I had a fantastic evening meal at this restaurant with my in-laws, husband, and daughter. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the exceptional staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience, and the service was top-notch. I would definitely revisit this restaurant just for the staff alone, although the food was also excellent. Considering the location in Covent Garden, it was also great value for money.
We had a wonderful dining experience with excellent service at Café Rouge. We felt relaxed and not rushed during our meal. While there were a couple of minor issues - such as not finding our online booking and a few menu items not available - it wouldn't deter us from dining there again.
