When I wanted to make myself clear, she said they could only make me a vegan fajita, mushroom burger or afteros. I decided for the fajita I regretted later than over 50% of the total meal consisted of boiled wobble. (I could have known this from the menu, I didn't read it when I didn't see it as an option before the waitress came.) When the waiter broke out the fajita, something in me had to check with him whether the cheese that accompanied him was vegan. he looked at it and said: no. If they are vegan, they cannot have it” and continue to take away the cheese and sour cream. I am very pleased that he had found a solution when he moved the a few centimeters to my omni friend who had ordered a burger, and said: "But you can eat it" and went away. there was no excuse, there was never a offer to replace the cheese, with, say some more guacuamole (which already came in a ridiculously small part in consideration of the size and cost of the meal), a free something or a few money back. the cocktails were nice.
It is good to see a few vegan options on the menu. stood there for lunch and had a vegan burrito. it was really nice, although there was no substitute cheese. I thought it was a bit on the expensive side (especially for lunch.) they have an breakfast / brunch menu, but there are no vegan options. I was disappointed that we had four plastic straws for our drinks (soft drink plus water of conduct ever) there is a small outdoor area, although it is directly on a main road, so not so nice to sit down. the personal was friendly. it is designed as a bar like a restaurant; it goes for a young party crowd in the evenings. they have music and cocktails etc. it's probably a funny night out when that's your ding. So it's okay, but personally, I'd probably land in a wahaca if I were in the mood for mexicans. it is cheaper and has a better vegan menu.
I walked into the restaurant and immediately liked the atmosphere. We arrived at 10:00 pm on a Saturday evening and the place was lively. It seemed like a great spot to grab a meal before a night out. However, my experience with the food and staff was disappointing. I ordered a vegan chimichanga but was informed by the waitress that they were out of vegan options. After some discussion, I settled for a vegan fajita, which turned out to be mostly cooked onions. When I questioned the waiter about the cheese being vegan, he removed it without apology and placed it in front of my non-vegan friend. The waiter seemed pleased with his "solution" and did not offer any alternatives or compensation. Despite this, the cocktails were enjoyable.
I was pleased to find a few vegan options on the menu at this restaurant. I tried the vegan burrito for lunch and it was tasty, although I wished they offered a substitute cheese. The prices were a bit high, especially for lunch. While they do have a breakfast/brunch menu, there are no vegan options available. I was disappointed to receive four plastic straws with our drinks (soft drink and tap water each). The outdoor seating area is small and located on a main road, which takes away from the ambiance. The staff were friendly. The restaurant has more of a bar vibe and caters to a younger, party crowd in the evenings with music and cocktails. It could be a fun night out for some, but personally, I would prefer Wahaca for Mexican food as it is cheaper and offers a better vegan menu.
I'm visiting after the re-fit and the whole establishment looks brighterI came with a friend on Xmas eve & we enjoyed ourselves.
