It was my first experience with Nigerian cuisine, and I was truly impressed by the aromas, generous portions, and quality of the food. I was a bit concerned about the spiciness of the dishes, but I managed just fine—even though I'm not a big fan of spicy foods. I rated it 4 stars because the cleanliness could have been better; there were food scraps on the floor under some tables, and we had to wait quite a while for our meal. However, the wait was worth it in the end! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for new experiences and who is open to trying different cuisines.
I reserved a table at Enish Finchley to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday, and I must say, it was fantastic! The restaurant manager was extremely polite, friendly, and informative, as were the staff. Everything went smoothly leading up to the event. I was able to hire a decorator, and there was a designated DJ for Friday. When I visited with a large group, we opted for the buffet. The food was well-prepared, and it was promptly replenished when we requested it. My guests were very satisfied with the service, and my mom truly enjoyed her special day. I will definitely return!
Enish Nigerian Restaurant in Finchley is a fantastic spot for enjoying Nigerian cuisine. I recently visited with friends and had a wonderful experience. The music added to the lively atmosphere. Overall, it's a great place to dine, whether you're looking to try something new or celebrate a birthday.
Never had Nigerian food before didn't know what to expect. Uda the waitress was very helpful in recommending dishes for us to enjoy! I'm now a big fan of Nigerian food and can't wait to try more dishes! P.s the serving the serving size is very generous!!
This review is quite overdue as we visited in February but I thought I’d still write one. My friend and I were craving Nigerian food, so we randomly decided to visit and were seated quickly. I ordered the pounded yam with egusi and chicken, my friend had amala and ewedu. They were quite accommodating to her as she’s vegetarian, they were able to serve her a portion without any meat but she was unable to have the gbegiri. We shared a portion of yam chips and pepper sauce which was also really tasty. The portions were really good as was the food itself, just wish they had more veggie options but overall a nice place! (We also got some jollof rice and ayamase to take home with us which was sooo good!
