A very good place to have authentic wood fired, sourdough pizza. Franco Manca has outlets all over London, since it was the closest to the Indian YMCA where we stayed a few days we gave this outlet a try. Well, it was definitely worth it! Ambience (4/5) : They have both outside and inside seating, with lots of tables to offer. It was almost full when we reached there so had to wait a few minute. Overall, it has a great homely vibe to it. Service and staff (4/5) : A very friendly and polite staff who provide with a nice service. The pizza was served very quickly and was hot and fresh. Food : 1. Number 7 pizza (4/5) : A very well prepared pizza with a decent amount of toppings. The base was decent as well. Overall, a must try place for pizza lovers.
An extremely popular wood-fired sourdough pizza joint, Franco Manca was indeed a comparably affordable, delicious way to satisfy my Neapolitan pizza cravings one month after having left Naples. With 18 stores around London, you will rarely find this place without a line during peak dining hours and it is well worth the wait! Considering the exorbitant prices of inner city London food, Franco Manca gives a budget-friendly, satisfyingly appetising Italian meal for anyone to enjoy.
Hands down my most favourite Pizzeria possibly in the whole world (and I've eaten a pie in Italy! . I'm a fan of simple streamlined menus and absolutely love the one they have at Franco Manca. They have their standard selection of pizza on the menu, and they put up a list of daily specials on a board at the restaurant. While the menu might seem to have less options for vegetarians, their daily specials or combination of topping add ons will offer a good variety. I've been to 3 branches of Franco Manca the Fitzrovia, the Westfield Mall and the one in New Ealing Broadway. All three of them are super spacious and have ever smiling staff. They have an open style kitchen where you get to see your pizza being made and also the excitement with which the chefs make them. My go to Pizza (as a Vegetarian and top recommendation would be their classic Tomato, Basil and Mozerella pizza with an three chilly mix (aka pepper mix VERY spicy and red onions and/or artichokes. If you have the appetite it is very possible to gobble up an entire pie on your own (which is how it's served generally as an individual portion . But if you want to pair it up with some side dishes, it's good to share as well. They don't seem to write their desserts on the menu always, but they do serve them! Always ask your server what's on offer for the day and chances are they'll surprise you with a delectable variety of sweetthings. A classic option would be to try one of their gelato flavours. The desert portions are tiny, but worth it. What I love: their signature sourdough Pizza! What I dislike: they don't have a branch in India (yet! Verdict: Absolute must visit for all pizza lovers.
Cheap, tasty pizzas and friendly service. The menu is very pared down, but the options are all delicious, even the simple margherita. Love it!
