Frankie Benny's - London

I had breakfast there yesterday, and they offer a fantastic selection of options, all priced at £5.95. My vegetarian breakfast was both delicious and affordable. However, the service was quite slow. There was just one person working, and the restaurant was half full, so I really felt for him.

While many fried foods can be delicious, I don’t believe that all American and Italian dishes need to be deep-fried, which makes me a bit less enthusiastic about this place. The staff seems rather indifferent and tends to meander around, even though the restaurant isn’t particularly crowded.

Terrible experience. The only positive was how quickly the food arrived. Everything else was disappointing. First, the waiter brought us a dirty glass. The starters were decent, but my main course had a fly on the tomatoes. There was no apology; my plate was just taken away without a word. For dessert, I ordered the apple cake, which turned out to be very soggy. Once again, it was taken away quickly without any explanation, and I wasn't asked if I wanted anything else or if it should be replaced. I ended up canceling the apple cake and requested the bill. No apologies were offered at any point! Overall, poor service and bad food.

The food is good, the service is excellent, and it's a nice place to visit.
