After a further slow 10 minutes the waiter brought us two slices toast and a few butter packets that let us laugh and gave us something concerned about what was before. Luckily, the appetizers were and the main were pleasantly aromatic. when we asked about the desserts after the bill, the bill was not reduced and the waiter had to make a photo of my reservation on my phone before he went into another room and produced the correct bill. After dinner we went to the bar that looked good with the refurbished holding cells and prison thema. all in all, nice eating, beautiful dining room shame, no one seems to go.
Beautiful surroundings but poor staffing and food, sorry this was terrible.
Only ones in restaurant on a Friday evening! Waitress pleasant but had no knowledge of anything on menu!
The restaurant opened recently and because of that it probably needs a little more time to get things right? We thought the food was average , the menu actually a bit boring, nothing overly exciting. There were enough waiters and only a few tables were sold, but they hardly paid attention to us. (They cleared after we finished our mains but we were left alone for almost 20 minutes before anyone offered us coffee or dessert). But most annoying was that the waiter 'forgot ' the special soft-opening rate of 50% discount. We knew when we booked there would be a special rate, which was clearly posted online and there was a big screen at the restaurants entrance as well inviting people for the special rate soft opening. But when the bill came we were charged full price. After I asked the waiter about it he said he forgot about it and changed the bill. Really? I wonder how many other (less informed) guests he made pay full price. Bad service.
