Le Bab - London

As our final night in London, we were delighted that we chose Le Bab for our last dinner of this trip. The food was all amazing and very impressive; the service was incredibly friendly and professional. I would definitely return to this restaurant more often and recommend it to all my friends!

We entered a restaurant that was only half full, and the waiter told us there were no available seats so we had to sit near the kitchen. Despite this unexpected seating arrangement, we didn't want to cause any trouble. While the food was delicious, the restaurant gradually emptied out and we were still not allowed to move to a regular table. When we received the bill, we noticed that we were charged more than what was listed on their website menu, as well as a sneaky 12.5% service charge. I questioned what service we were being charged for, as we received our food directly from the chef. The food was good, but the service left much to be desired as the staff appeared to be unattentive and simply stood around staring at the customers.

We were incredibly impressed by this restaurant! The layout was simple and clean, although the seats were a bit cramped and we had to bump into each other to move around. However, this is understandable given the expensive location. The food was all excellent and deserving of more than 5 stars! The presentation was tastefully done and the portions were very generous. We ordered too much and regretted it, as one starter and main dish would have been sufficient. We had the mezze mix and dirty fries as a starter, and the dirty bab as our main. The padron peppers, hummus, and garlic naan were delightful, with the hummus having a bit of a kick and the naan being freshly made. The main dish was also satisfying, and we struggled to finish it.

Food was absolutely delicious!! Best food we've had in a long time, we started off with the Meze to share, that was unreal! Took the hummus home! No way was leaving that bad boy behind! Then we had the fried chicken Bab and the 15yr ribeye Bab both soo tasty! Service was great, very friendly staff! Would definitely visit again!

Cute little place. Stunned at how incredible the Paneer Les Kebab was (5 star food). Whilst I was eating it I was already excited for the next time I get to have one. Phenomenally delicious Garlic mayo dip is amazing with the chips. My friends had the meat butter naan and it was not a winner for them.
