Pimlico Tandoori - London

I made a booking in the afternoon, but when I arrived, the restaurant was full and I was told that OpenTable often doesn't work. This issue needs to be addressed. I was not impressed by this, but the ambiance of the restaurant looked good. Unfortunately, I am unable to comment on the food or service.

A very lovely local indian restaurant with very good food. Very friendly and a good experience all round. Good indian food in a very nice restaurant environment with friendly service. I went there on Sundy evening wanting good Indian food it fitted my needs very well.

Pimlico Tandoori is a good neighbourhood Indian restaurant, where the food often outdoes the surroundings. The room is a little bright and functional rather than cosy or romantic, but the well flavoured food makes it a popular choice with local residents...and when it's busy there can be quite a buzz..

The food was tasty and something we would try again. The staff were friendly and the environment was clean and cosy. The disappointment came when we tried to order off menu. We asked to have our Lamb Rogan Josh curry to be hot/spicy but it was more on the mild side and when we asked for chickpeas but received green peas. The desserts were those pre-packaged ice creams which didn’t really satisfy our craving for Gulab Jamun. All and all the food tasted good and was fresh and well worth a try.

I read the reviews of Pimlico Tandoori before I visited and since I read that Chicken Chilli Masala was the specialty, I decided to order it and I'm so glad that I did. My friend had the lamb madras which was equally delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I wish I lived in the area so that this could be my local Indian restaurant. I would go all of the time. As it is, I'll probably make the trip back anyways.
