Poggi's Trattoria Piacentina - London

My friend and I discovered this restaurant and thought it was wonderful. The owner who waited on us was very friendly and accommodating. We tried the meat and cheese tasting plates which were delicious. Our main courses were fantastic, with authentic Italian flavors. I particularly enjoyed the Venison ragu. The wine was a bit expensive but worth it for the quality. We highly recommend Poggi’s for both casual meals and special occasions.

The must-try dishes are the classic tortelli with tail and the branzino roll, as well as the delicious and delicate desserts. The staff in the dining room is very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to coming back soon. It's not easy to feel at home away from home, but Poggi's manages to do it wonderfully.

I went here yesterday after a friend recommended it to us, the food was beautiful. Part of their menu has a section of home made pasta, I had the home made lasgnetta di mare and my girlfriend had the delicious pappardelle with venison ragù. The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I will be back next time I come to London.
