I had booked a table at this restaurant with the intention of having a meal. However, when my client arrived, he had to leave quickly for another meeting so we ended up just ordering coffees. We had to signal to someone to take our order, who turned out to be either the concierge or the floor manager at the time. When we placed our order, he awkwardly noted that we had only booked a table for coffees. At the end of our visit, we had to ask two separate people for the bill. Since we didn't order any food, I am unable to comment on the quality of the dishes. The floor manager in a suit on that day was quite rude.
Went for the Oli Marlow Great British Menu experience. Food was amazing and service exemplary.
Arrived at 9.30am and there was only 2 other tables with people. Even then I had to ask a couple of times for service. Breakfast menu is pretty limited although food was perfectly nice and came quickly. However no orange juice and they didn't do smoothies so very limited drinks option. The tea we ordered never arrived and had to ask again. Had to ask for the bill 3 times. I had a lunch booked here in a few weeks time and have since cancelled.
The service at this restaurant was very disappointing and unsatisfactory. We waited nearly an hour for our first drinks to arrive and to even place our meal order, while others who arrived after us were served quickly and before us. When our drinks finally arrived, the order was incorrect. This was not the usual level of service I have experienced at this restaurant before.
