Menu and staff both very good, but we were served by a material number of different wait staff, which meant we had to repeat ourselves on more than one occasion. One waiter 's English wasn 't the best and expressed attitude when I suggested we had gone round in a circle when discussing a menu item low point of the evening. The overall level of attention to service and desire to please was very welcome and appreciated. A very good 3 4 hours, even though reception initially stated they wanted the table vacated within two hours. I do NOT appreciate being called within one hour of booking to confirm my reservation. Once booked I either show or give at least 24 hours notice of cancelling absent an event beyond my control. Being asked to call to confirm is a high cost activity.

If you love the freshest seafood in a very chic relaxing restaurant then this is for you Be prepared to spend a small fortune to eat here...but You will not be disappointed Enjoy

Having looked forward to an enjoyable experience it was disappointing when it did not live up to expectations. We arrived and were greeted warmly by very friendly greeting staff. However we had to wait over 5 minutes before we could order our pre lunch drinks. We were seated down by very friendly people and our first course was fabulous and well presented. Our main course, John Dorey was a let down in that the fish was dry and looked as if it had been reheated, not something we expect from an establishment of your reputation. I would be reluctant to repeat the experience in a hurry. I would also recommend my friends to visit but with a warning to manage their expectations. Thank you.
