We started with the sea bass ceviche and Korean fried wings, followed by the Teriyaki salmon and miso aubergine for our mains. Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly and our food and drinks arrived quickly. I will definitely return for the miso aubergine alone!
The food at this restaurant is excellent and unique, and the service is very good. Teresa, who works on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, took great care of us with her quick wit and diligence. We will definitely be coming back.
We each received a cocktail when we got there and unlimited prosecco and/or wine throughout our time there. The staff were friendly, didn't rush us at all and tried their best to accommodate us. The food was lovely so much to choose from and unlimited small plates and as well as a large plate and dessert! Given all the options available, it was a great opportunity for us to try new things we haven't had before. I will definitely be going back again for the Sunday brunch it was amazing value, great food and an enjoyable experience.
We went to this restaurant for a meal after a theatre show. We decided to go with the set menu (£25 per person) and ordered the Korean wings and beef with rice. Both dishes were delicious, but the only downside was that the wings were very spicy and we were told that they could not be adjusted to our preference due to being pre-marinated. The service, however, was not as good as the food. We were seated very close to another couple at a nearby table, so close that we could hear their entire conversation, which felt intrusive. We also had to specifically request our drinks order. A 12.5% service charge was automatically added to the bill, which is common in London. However, when we asked for it to be removed because we were not satisfied with the service, we were told it was mandatory. Just a heads up, under UK law, service charges are discretionary unless stated otherwise and can be removed from the bill. After requesting to have the service charge removed, we received a somewhat cold reception, but we felt it was fair given our experience. The staff did eventually fulfill our request. In summary, the food was good, but the service fell short of expectations.
Met friends here for dinner, showed up without a reservation and they had no problem accommodating us. We ordered lots of dishes to share and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. Special mention to the iberico pork sando and the ceviche, will definitely order those again next time. The max and cheese came with chicken skin scratchings baked into the top and then had tobiko on top of that, which was a delicious twist on the classic. We also tried their famous dessert and I must say, that and the 2 sandwiches were in the most incredible thick-sliced brioche, it was honestly perfect. The Yuzu frozen margarita was truly delicious, it was an excellent choice for dinner with friends and we tried a lot of dishes between us. The service was friendly and well-paced, would definitely dine here again next time I visit.
