I wish I could give no star at all at this place. Maybe it is my fault as I was expectinf something (good) from a chain restaurant like this one. The only good thing of the restaurant is that it is very well designed, the ambient is full of stuff from the movie and I gues you feel an American vibe. However, there's nothing else to it. About the food: we had 3 starters and only one was alright. Then we had 2 mains: coconut shrimp, which had 7 shirmps with a lot of fries (have a look at the pictures) and costs 20 pounds, and the shrimper's heaven: shrimps cooked in different ways with (again) a lot of fries. If I wanted fries as main food I would have gone somewhere else and I would have paid a third. Two of our friends said thath the Buba Gumps they had been in America was better....I was speechless! I would not come back even if I were paid.
Food service were good. Interior is nicely American and on theme . The entire experience feels a bit commercialised though, starting with the gift shop through which one enters exits. To me it 's a been there, done that kind of experience but a nice one.
Food was good but for a place in the middle of London city I was expecting more as the price was not cheap at all. The staff was friendly and helpful, unfortunately I believe that when the place is full they got a bit lost and the food takes more time to reach the table as per experience my drinks arrived just after I started to eat. The interior of the place is great, full of pictures, car plates and other stuff, really cool.
The atmosphere is really nice and the place is very huge. U can enjoy going around to see the Forest Gump movie pictures and decorations. The seafood is OK but too much greasy, and the service is too slow
