St John's Tavern - London

St Johns forms one of the Trinity of special pubs in the Tufnell Park area and has one of the best bar snack selections I have come across.

I had a great meal hereA liver dish that was done perfectlyBut service overall was really poor.

Great gastro pub and really the only decent place in Archway for dinner. _Food is consistently excellent and the staff are fab too. _Dog friendly.

This used to be my favourite local pub. But now it’s £14 for a large glass of wine I won’t be returning . London pubs, please understand the more you increase your prices the less people will come. Keep your prices modest and we will stay, and eventually spend more. No brainer.

After many years enjoying this pub especially a Sunday lunch after dog walks this experience has meant my wife and i won't be going back. a real shame, it was always so reliable......v slow service, cold food......newly expensive too!
