The food was mostly nice and seemed fresh. Opted for the bottomless option with a group of friends (if bottomless option is chosen, everyone on the table will have to pay for the bottomless even if you just wanted a single bowl of ramen… To order we have to connect to their wifi and download the shushimania app (it doesn’t work with mobile data , on the day we went they were having problems with the wifi so ordering was really hard and eventually the waitress had to come take our order… The restaurant is okay, although it’s a bit small and could do with a refurb.
Amazing food, great portions, and quick service! Easy to order on the app! Definitely good value for money!
It’s not your typical buffet where you have to keep getting up for more food. Instead, you receive a menu, choose what you want, and specify how many portions you'd like. I believe you can only have three rounds, but one round was plenty for my friend and me. We were really hungry when we ordered and ended up getting a total of 13 dishes. We even ordered a soft-shell crab, which wasn’t included in the buffet menu. I wish we hadn’t, because I had tried it before, and it added an extra £10 to our bill. The quality of the food was very good; my favorite was the salmon sashimi, although there was hardly anything that could go wrong. The menu wasn’t limited to just sushi; we also ordered tuna, salmon teriyaki, and prawn tempura. There was a noodle soup dish that we didn’t try, but I saw someone at another table enjoying it, and she seemed to like it while her friend loved it. Overall, the bill for both of us came to about £50, which I think is a bit pricey for lunch. However, to be fair, we really indulged in a lot of sashimi, which would’ve cost around £15 if we had gone to another restaurant. I wish we had just stuck to the buffet menu, as there were other dishes I wanted to try. Nevertheless, I will probably return because the food was great, the staff were nice, and it offered good value for money.
