Feedback gevenA beautiful independent alcohol, with an excellent menu. pizza seems to be a basic food, also some decent healthy options such as steamed and grilled fish and salads. burgers looked great, even though I couldn't try it! a bit of an institution around these parts, as I understand.
The lansdowne is the pub in primrose hill. each uppity area has one – the pub where the titled and oblivious drink. where they drink or despise the people who do this. a westbourne tavern, salusbury, freemaurer or sloaney pony if they want.
We went, full and satisfied, and again the gastropub had saved the day. and next time I am firm with a lot of people whose taste is too diverse to treat for any sane person, I am back in the landsdowne, breathing a sigh of ease and order dessert.
