I've been visiting here regularly over a couple of years. As much as I really like the salads, the price and portion inconsistency is becoming really off putting. This last visit was served by a newbie (never saw her before seemed to struggle to pick up the salad with the tongs... I wound up with two pieces of sweet potato, three pieces of sweet potato skin!! (only skin... enough pea/pesto salad to fill two forks and probably about 20 chic peas from the chickpea beetroot salad. One protein added in and the total came to £10.20.... the box was so empty (they are not huge... that I could see the bottom of it in places. Unfortunately as much as I like their ethos for healthy food as much as for this price and constant feeling of being ripped off, think I'll give it a miss for awhile... You can definitely do better for a £10.20 teeny portion of salad.
For those who enjoy eating nutritious meals, this restaurant is a godsend. The menu, while straightforward, offers a variety of natural, delicious, and satisfying options. Though prices may be on the higher side, the quality justifies it. The restaurant is also a great option for vegans. Situated in a bustling and trendy area near shopping hubs, the location is excellent.
Walked around looking for just a bowl of soup.. first time in detox kitchen .. soup was finished around 3pm.. so went for the Dahl and quinoa.. Sadly needed salt and pepper.. (white pepper)..is what was needed. . Not a place I’d go back to. missing a trick. as good food is addictive.. Although Lovely staff serving ..
The Mortimer Street Deli offers high-quality sweet and savoury dishes at mid-range prices with friendly staff. The reviewer has visited the deli many times for breakfast and always enjoyed it. However, as they have allergies to gluten, dairy, and walnuts, the range of options is limited for them. The range of dairy-alternative drinks is good, and the quality of ingredients and dishes is always excellent. The staff is friendly and careful in handling food. Despite mid-range prices, the dishes are satisfying and rich in flavour, with high-quality ingredients making it good value for money. Lunch options include salads, hot food, and pre-packed meals. Those without dietary requirements will find a broad menu selection to suit their tastes. The reviewer appreciates the high quality of the dishes and highly recommends the deli for a healthy sweet or savoury treat.
