The Summerhouse - London

The restaurant did not have our reservation when we arrived- luckily they did have a free table for 4 since it wasn't peak time. They said they had stopped working with OpenTable, even though we did have a booking confirmation secured by credit card for the no-show fee. The food was good although not as nice and well prepared as we remembered from previous visits.

Fabulous location on the canal, wonderful food and very pleasant staff.

I would recommend the a Summerhouse to friends the food was lovely, nice ambience and good service.

A delicious birthday lunch in a delightful, waterside restaurant.

We had not a good experience. I had emailed the restaurant ahead to say my partner was GF. When we got there they had no clue of this. My partner could not have majority of the items on the menu and were not willing to adapt at all. I’m not GF and asked for some bread with my soup starters which they said they did not have. Restaurant without any bread! They offered me chips instead! Service was poor and the attitude was abrupt! They asked me what I would like to drink so I said if I could see the menu it would be helpful!!For £75 per head if was not good value at all.
