Tongue Brisket - London

This is a great salt beef sandwich shop located in central London. While they offer much more than just salt beef, it is the dish they feature most prominently in their window. The Roggenbrot bread is fluffy yet sturdy enough to hold a generous portion of salt beef and pickles. The salt beef itself is tender and flavorful. To be honest, it may not have the same depth and intensity as the salt beef from Beigel Bake on Brick Lane, but it's still quite good. Inside, seating is limited; the space is a bit narrow, but it is clean, well-maintained, and can accommodate customers even during busy times.

This was the best meal I've had in London. Wow, what a hidden gem! The salt beef was absolutely incredible. My only regret is that I didn't order more!

We have visited several times and eating is always top notch. both the salt bark on roggen and salmon and cream cheese bagels are authentic, generous and very tasty. the latka’s are also recommended. always happy to support a small business that serves great classic over larger chains. highly recommended

Great selection of sandwiches, have tried the Reuben, the roast beef and the turkey, all were really really good. The small size would probably be enough but I always go for the large! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area
