Feedback gevenApprently when you go to wagamama they charge a service charge on top of your food which cannot be taken off. The staff member and manager were not able to explain why and the service was rubish. Over priced and then charge a service charge which cannot be taken off.
From the Brent Cross restaurant, I ordered via Deliveroo, Boxing Day at 12:00, Yaki Soba Chicken and Prawn, Duck Gyoza and Chilli Squid. Cost me over £30 and therefore is a treat. The meal was cold and the order had taken 47 minutes. The Yaki Soba was ok as could be heated in the microwave and had good flavour and was clearly freshly cooked. However, both side dishes were definitely not fresh and had probably been left from Christmas Eve. Both side dishes were hard, rubbery and was not edible. This is not the first time I have had issues with the quality of the food, but this is far the worst and I feel very hard done by having spent this kind of money. They would not dare serve that to me had I’d sat down and had a meal in the restaurant. I was starving and not happy.
Popped in to wagamamas in Brent Cross shopping centre for a bite to eat whilst shopping, we were seated and served by a short girl called Brenda, she was really helpful and attentive. You could see she was working really hard and had a lot of tables to deal with. Food was amazing as always with my experiences at wagamamas restaurants. There is one thing I have to say, the manager was dreadful, she was called Tyna (I think I’ve spelt that correctly). She was stomping around shouting at staff over tables, one time it felt as though she was shouting right into my ear. She was screaming at the kitchen staff in front of the whole restaurant, and all she was actually doing was pacing up and down the restaurant whilst the rest of the staff were working their socks off. I felt really bad for the staff and I certainly wouldn’t have put up with the pure gob she was dishing out to everyone. On top of this one of the drinks we ordered never turned up, I think they were just really busy and got a bit snowed under but Brenda dealt with this issue swiftly which was great!
We love the food here, but sadly won’t be returning to the Brent Cross branch. Not enough staff serving tables which the Manager agreed with. Didn’t expect a waitress to put her hand up to me to stop me talking further, when trying to ask for water. Hopeless service, food average.
Silly waitresses always, no wonder when people hire non pro staff to pay less, must blame owners. Food is good but waitresses trying hard to spoil your day anyway
