This place should not be calling itself cocktail bar (as stated on the website and above the entrance door) when they clearly barely have an idea of what

AVOID!!!! All the bad reviews are trueEven though there are some good ones DON'T TAKE THE RISK WE DID.

We had a group of 5 and saw that the restaurant looks almost empty on a Friday night.

This place is beautifully decorated and looks fabulous. Yep, that's all I've got, oh, and the scallops were perfectly cooked.When we arrived I was looking forward to dining here. Upon opening the menu I was disappointed. There is a good range of starters but sadly, the mains lacked variety. Of dishes, are beef burgers, are steak and are fish. Ok if you like red meat but if you're vegetarian it seems you're out of luck. The scallops in my starter came done to a T' but unfortunately the big chunks of chorizo and undressed salad were not appealing. For my main I chose the dover sole filets. A delicate fish, it was way overcooked. They came heavily crumbed and deep-fried. The salad looked like it came straight out of a cooking show big pieces of tomato, cucumber sliced on an angle and again no dressing. A dry dish that not even the thick sauce' on the side could moisten. We decided against dessert and went for liqueur coffees instead. These arrived lukewarm and in a wine glass *sigh.At (incl. service) for people, courses each, liq coffees and a bottle of wine did I think it was money well spent? Not in my opinion. I wouldn't mind sitting at the bar and having a few cocktails but I would not return for the food.Just a note on the service too. Our bottle of wine stayed on the table in its bucket for the whole of our visit. We were left to top up ourselves whilst watching the staff leaning on their station most of the time with their arms folded having a catch-up and drinking hot drinks. When I go to a nice-looking place with these prices I expect at least attentive service and great food, unfortunately we didn't get either. Whilst our server was polite the skill was lacking.

AVOID!!!! All the bad reviews are true. Even though there are some good ones DON'T TAKE THE RISK WE DID. We were a table of four celebrating a friends birthday, and decided to go for the set menu. Starters were OK, I had the lamb but it did not feel like it had been made freshly, which is what you would expect with such prices. My main was awful , I had the Liver which tasted like something that had come from a can , which was accompanied my a liquidated mash. For the dessert I ordered the Tiramisu. When it came it looked more like a mini cheesecake with cream from a can on the side. It tasted NOTHING like it should have , and the funnier part was we could not even break into the thing as it was FROZEN SOLID. Once we complained and said we were in a hurry , could they just take it off the bill , a waiter came back with a menu. Basically demanding that we order another dessert , otherwise she was going to charge us for the others separately which would have been more expensive than have I experienced such appalling/ disgusting service!!!! We asked to speak to the management. It was like they took offence to our complaint and was more concerned about profit. Sorry , buy we were the PAYING customers. Eventually they called the owner and we got of the bill and deducted the service charge. It still came to each (RIPOFF). Never going back here again, I think a lot of the food is frozen. Next time I would rather go to ICELAND and spend and get better value for my money. for food for SERVICE. There are no responses back to any of these complaints, which they could learn a lot from. Shows that they simply do not care!
