The vegan hot chocolate is always a winner for me as is their chai latte but the food options are bizarre! The only sweet treat is a chocolate tahini bite which is the size of a fingernail and the sandwich options never hit the spot. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is always lovely and their breads are delicious.
I stopped today and saw no vegan sandwiches or sweets. when I asked, the server seemed a bit confused – that is, they didn’t say “oh, we just ran out!” nor “we usually have vegan items, just not today!” instead they seemed like this was a question that they didn’t get often, and then realized that they had nothing to offer vegan. I would normally ask that happycow remove this bakery from their listings, except that other reviewers obviously had more luck than I – but maybe that was in the past? it could not hurt to stick her head to see if the things have changed when they are in the opposite – what I did is next to cafe de nata.
We came a little early, so they only got those black tahin cupcakes. because we had no breakfast, we took 5 and the one passing was over before we reached the museum. should be taken more because they f*in tasty

I stopped tasting her olive oil bread and her vegan chocolate and tahini bite. the brot was okay, but nothing special. it lacked taste and had a better texture. the texture did not feel fresh, although it was apparently baked on this day. the chocolate tahini bite was delicious, but again, nothing special. it was soft and chocolate. like a small brownie bite. if they stop for a hot drink and feel like something sweet to go with, I would recommend it. I like it's small so they can enjoy a bit of sweetness without eating a whole bake. I was a little disappointed, but due to their missing vegan bakery options. they have a large selection of baked goods and only the chocolate tahini bite and a strawberry coconut bar cake that looked too overly sweet were the only vegan options.
