Feedback gevenWe visited welcome house a month or so ago, and thought the food was authentic and most importantly very tasty, it reminded us of our trip to Thailand, which the normal chains don't. The staff are friendly and happy to explain what the dishes are to newbies to Thai food. The prices are reasonable and the dishes are a good size. We had the seabass and the steak (which they lit in front of us! , Stir fried vegetables (which had tofu in it and spring rolls. As I said, the food was all very tasty and filling, so no complaints from us.We planned to take family members there but regrettably it was closed, we do hope it opens again soon.
I have been many times to this lovely restaurant. Firstly the staff are very friendly and always give you advice on their menu if needed. The restaurant has a very cosy feel and sets you for a relaxed atmosphere unlike the majority of bistro style wood floor cold designs. As for the food it is very authentic and has lots of natural flavours with herbs and chillies. I find other restaurants have far too much salty soy and artificial sweet flavours. This restaurant gives you the true taste of Thailand. Very good value for money too. Highly Recommended.
Update! Closed and i can see why.So food and service are two separate things. The food deserves a 4 because it was a little salty and the portions small. However the lunch deal was still a good price (see the menu). But still good food. Now the service. Its possible that because it was Sunday, almost all tables were full, and the two who were working there were tired and stressed but the staff were a little rude and I will leave it at that. Also, I noticed a 3 on the kitchen sanitation rating. I would recommend it because the food was good and the interior dining area very nice. I may go back and if the service is better I might improve my assessment.
Good food, great value lunch menu with lots of choice
It's sevenoaks, steak and chips and a curry perhaps, but good Thai?! Fantastic food. Well worth a visit. We ate green curry, pad khing, prawn, pa chaeng, and the tiger steak. All excellent.
