Tasty steak, weird peppercorn sauce. Mushrooms were super juicy, fries, lamb and mash were nothing special. Was an okay meal for a late night in the city. Waitress advised us to order mash after we said fries and mushrooms...telling us the orders were very small. We ended up wasting the sides as we couldn't finish it...

Steak. Steak. Steak. This is what most of my nights out with the guys sounds like around 9pm. A couple of reprobates and I were out in the City a few weeks ago, when someone said the 'steak chant ' and then that was it. I got onto Toptable, booked it and away we went! So firstly, these guys that I was with know a lot about steak. One is a bodybuilder turned banker, one a Texan, and one a 6 '5 Polish Aussie. The steaks :-D were high as we went in and unsurprisingly, BAR didnt disappoint. My sirloin was a very decent size and tasted amazing, as did the glass of red I had. I cant really say much else, as, i like to keep it really simple of these steak nights out. But, I will say, the steak was great!! Im most definitely going to come back here soon :

Had an unplanned dinner here one Wednesday night with some work colleagues. To be honest, none of us were expecting much however we were pleasantly surprised. Had a nice bottle of Malbec. Ignored the recommendation of the waitress (which seemed to be £10 dearer) and wasn't disappointed. We all went for the rib eye which was very flavoursome. Not as good as Hawksmoor or Goodmans, but still good none the less. Service was ok. Price was fairly reasonable.
