The service lacked professionalism during our visit. The server assigned to our table stood right next to us with their back turned, even though the other side of the table was open. While we were seated, we were only given a menu. My dining companion had to send back the risotto because it had an overpoweringly bitter taste. When we inquired about dessert, we decided to order the maple walnut cake. It was a small detail, but we were given spoons for our cheesecake and carrot cake, when I would have expected forks. This was my third visit here, and it will likely be my last.
This was our second visit to the restaurant, and it will also be our last. Our first experience a year ago was fantastic, but unfortunately, things have changed. We were a party of six, and when we arrived, it was quite noisy; however, it settled down after a while, likely as people left for Budweiser Gardens. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed by the crowd that had come before us, and as a result, the service we received was subpar. If the management would like a more detailed account of our disappointing experience, I’d be happy to provide it, but for now, we won't be returning.
