Ozen - London

After reading good reviews online, we decided to try this restaurant. However, we were extremely disappointed, especially with the Oldashi Tofu. It was one of the worst I have ever had. The dough was thick and barely warm, not at all like the way Japanese fried food should be. The tofu was hard instead of soft and silky, and it was served cold, which was surprising. The Sushi Combo was decent, but they had run out of Japanese tea. Overall, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Although the food was good, I was extremely disappointed with the experience we had last week at this restaurant. I had called ahead to ask if it was okay for three of us to come at 9 a.m. and the person I spoke with on the phone said it was fine. When we arrived, we were quickly seated, which was a good start. Our waitress was friendly, but things quickly went downhill. Some of the menu items we wanted were not available. As we started eating, the music suddenly turned off and the servers began cleaning around us. We then overheard other servers complaining in Korean that we were still there (our friend who is Korean translated for us). Just as we were almost finished with our meal, the waitress asked us to settle the bill so she could leave, and then we were given boxes to take our food to go. It felt as though we were being rushed out, even though we hadn't been slow at all. I left feeling completely dissatisfied and will not be returning. If the staff didn't want customers to stay late, they should not have allowed us to dine there. It was unacceptable for them to talk about us in Korean and be extremely rude. We will not be coming back. Thank you for taking our money, but we will not be returning.

I decided to try this place out. The sushi was tasty, but there was too much sauce on it for my liking, even though I usually like to add extra. I might want to explore other sushi restaurants next time.

I like her cheese dynamite roll and pork roll. Your Udons, Teriyakis are all tasteful. Very inexpensive and decent quality tariff. Service is at times awkward but ok for the price they charge.

Went for dinner with a friend. We were seated quickly. We were not offered any tea, had to ask for it twice. The server got the order wrong on the first time. We were ignored by several servers walking by after we finished our meal,...waiting for our bill. We were never asked if we wanted a refill of water or tea. The sushi is fresh and good quality, so I can't fault them for the food.
