Lone Son Donuts - Lone Star

The donuts are delicious and always fresh, and the staff is friendly. On one occasion, they refused to sell me some old donuts that hadn't been taken off the display yet (they had just opened). Instead, they made me wait for fresh ones, which I really appreciate.

The building may be old, but the staff and donuts are fantastic. I highly recommend it!

If you're in the mood for some delicious pastries, definitely stop by and indulge in their amazing donuts. I tried the donuts first, and then I returned for dinner to grab some biscuits and croissants. The donuts were phenomenal—truly a standout! The biscuits were like little buttery clouds of pure joy. As for the croissants, I couldn't resist buying six, and now there are none left! To my delight, they also reheat very well, so I recommend picking up a dozen. If you're a trucker, you'll be happy to know you can park your rig at Lone Star Lube, a fantastic service facility for big trucks. It's just a short walk across the not-so-busy highway, and you can treat yourself to some fantastic pastries at Lone Son. Enjoy!

Very good biscuit. Lots better than other places...actually used salt AND pepper on egg...
