Elimination While I am not proud to give an assessment that?s not glowing there are times when it is not avoided Gladstone?s was recommended by our hotel. It was a simple 10 minutes walk. We sat quickly on the terrace with a beautiful view of the water. The state of the chairs and table was beaten and sunk. We were quickly welcomed by our server and he was the highlight of the entire experience. He did an amazing job to provide the best service you could ever dream that the food is where everything goes downhill. The fresh leaves from sourdough were very hot fresh and tasty. Next was the shell-khowder who had an incredibly thick texture and not many shells or other solids like potatoes. Finally we ordered the local halibut darkened. The server apologised that the only pages were offered to mix potatoes and vegetables. No replacement allowed. The fish was tasty, even though he was black. The potatoes were bland and no taste. Finally, the steamed vegetables were not seasoned and small portion. As someone who travels more than 100 nights a year, I can recommend this restaurant in the good faith.
Whenever we are in the area, this is one of our favorite places to go for food. This time we had the poke nachos that are tasty and has the perfect balance of flavors that you almost want to eat the dish when you share with what is done on it and it is definitely great enough for 3-4 people. My daughter really enjoyed the California role not much to say about it, but it was good. I had the lobsters, shrimps and crab linguins, which was definitely a huge part and the amount of seafood that is in it, not disappointed. Although I really enjoyed this dish, it is rich and heavy and you will long for a nap. The service here is always amazing and the views of the port and the sea breeze are a great way to enjoy a meal.
I and my family thought there was a nice dinner with a view. The view is probably the best of my experience. The food was tasteless and cold. Our Ceviche appetizers taste like a spoon of lemon and the chips were stale. My lobster Mac n cheese was not even melted, it had no warmth and tasted under boiled. In addition, I was asked for the small Mac n cheese and calculated for the big one. My husband's fish were oily and overcooked. My son didn't even like his burger. Maybe the good cooks are working on the weekend.
Food was great, the service was okay (Our waiter was Great). Really wanted to rate 5 stars however, I had made a reservation for two, outside dining for mother's day four days in advance. When I arrived was told there wasn't any outside seating available when clearly there were seats available. I guess those seats were for people with reservations.
