She's been open only a few months but the word has spread around the neighborhood and locals make a point of stopping by every weekend to see what delicious, perfectly textured pastries and sandwiches are waiting for us! Truly, you can feel the love in the food here.
This is such a hidden gem!! Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of sweet and savory options! Lots of options for vegetarians and a couple for vegans as well. Excited to go back!
I've been here before about 6 months ago because I love to support small local business and everything was great. But the last two occasions have been very disappointing. The cream in the cream horn was slightly sour and the pastry very dry. I'm afraid it seemed to be a little stale. At the time I thought I may have caught these guys on an off day, so I gave them another chance and tried the quiche but it was obviously not as fresh as you would expect. So I won't be back, sorry.
The first time there and the friendly lady gave us the course of things. Super beautiful and the pastries were definitely worth waiting.
What an incredible local jewel, if you are lucky to find yourself there during the limited opening hours, you will have an incredible cookie experience. During the week they bake for restaurants, the weekend you can stop and flower on a sugar high. This is the craftsmanship that can only come from a small local company that has grown into the right balance of sugar, flour, skills, freedom and life. Cookies are large, chewing, unique and tasty. When you talk to the owners, you will hear their perspectives of chefs instead of bakers. And then, if you chop the pastries, you will realize this training in the taste of their baking. Obviously, my new favorite place. It's okay with coffee. Yum.
