Long Beach Tavern

Great pizza (we had the taco pizza and it was great). Bartenders (two) were nice but swamped even on a Thursday evening. You have to order at the bar, and if you're in a hurry, wrong place. It's not the bartenders fault, they just needed more help. I'd go back, but I'd order a couple drinks per person. We only had one each and didn't run a tab because of the wait/line. Otherwise, everything was good. Also, we found Waldo ?

Average for a tavern unless it's a holiday weekend and then you might get ignored have to wait longer than expected for service. Open later than any other bar on the peninsula right in the middle of Long Beach.

Not friendly vibes. Got stared at with an unwelcoming look upon entering.

They say we eat with our eyes. I think this is true and the presentation of food here Spot On. Everything looks great. Portions are large. We had a fish sandwich, Nachos, and the LBT burger. Everything was good. Food is lightly seasoned but there is salt and pepper on the table. We had to order at the bar and refill drinks at the bar but everyone was friendly and service was fast. We will definitely return.

The seafood plate is expensive but worth the price. Fun and accepting atmosphere. Parking: On the main street there is some parking Kid-friendliness: This is a Tavern ... you must be 21 and older.
